I'm not sure where to start with this post, so perhaps I should start by saying I'm the world's worst blogger. I apologise, especially to Elizabeth, profusely for this.

We're all told when we start out writing/publishing, "You should blog; get your word out any way you can!" And so on and so on. I started self-publishing in December 2010, and I can safely say that "any way you can" is never the best way to go (at least for me) because what's become obvious is that not all ways suit everyone, and I, for some mysterious reason I might never understand, almost always struggle with the ways that suit most other people.

I'm not good at blogging.

I think the main issue is that I don't enjoy talking about the process of writing while I'm actually writing; nor the book I'm currently working on for that matter. It spoils the evolution of the story, somewhat, for me, and since I'm writing most of the time between publications, that leaves me not a lot to blog about!

So, it's with a heavy heart and wishing that I was a little better at this blogging gig, that I spoke to Elizabeh a few nights ago and decided to cease my part in this blog. After considering the options (e.g. recruiting someone else to take my place and blog with her), Elizabeth has also decided that it may be best to close the blog. But I shall leave her to say her bit below.

Can I extend the hugest of thanks to all the readers over the years who have followed us on here. You will be able to catch both of us in other places. Here's my list below...

Hey folks,

Well, this is my last Monday post and well, the last post for Not Just A Stiff Upper Lip. I can't say that blogging has ever been my forte. Sometimes I have something to say, but a lot of the time I don't and therefore you get bombarded with posts that sound like I am whining, or just rambling on about nonsense, or tons of updates. If I am being honest most of the time - and the main reason my posts are always closer to midnight - it's because I've sat for an hour or longer trying to come up with something interesting to talk about, and most of the time it works, but a lot of the time it's hard to know what to say. I feel bad for constantly going on about random things and no doubt boring you all to death.

So yes, Dianna and myself have decided that it would be best to close the blog down. You can, as Dianna has pointed out, find us elsewhere online. I do have my own blog, but it is more used to host other authors and their work, though I do have the odd ramble every now and again. I am mainly on Facebook. I'm a status author more than anything and tend to keep all forms of info short and sweet.
Super sorry I missed last Mondays post. I was feeling, well,
down in the dumps, there is no other way I can say it. I felt really tired last
week especially across this weekend, and very fed up. I knew I needed to write
and do stuff, but it was really hard to make words happen, or to find the
enthusiasm and energy to do the little jobs I needed to do.

All of which sucked because I had hit 23K on Blood Book 2
and I was sure I could reach 27k - I finished at 17k last month - and basically
do my 10k for the month, but epic fail. It seems like an easy target, but what
can I say; I suck at targets, which is probably why I never set dates for
releases, or have even agreed to write a book for a certain release date,
because I know that I just won't make it. I hate it. I hate that I'm useless in
that sense, but I guess there is no point grumbling. Blood Book 2 will be
released in the summer one way or another.

So yes, been a crappy week, and another busy month - in the
sense that time has passed and I haven't spent enough of it writing - but it is
now March. So my aim is to get to 33k by April - 40k if I am able to find an
item that will freeze time so I can have longer to write.

The book is going well despite the slow progress. It did
slow down a little this month because I had to pause and snoop around google
map. Part of Blood Book 2 is set in Venice, Italy. A big portion of it is
indoors and in two particular areas, but there is the odd scene which will be
set somewhere else. So, I like to go on the street view on google map and
pretend I am walking about, to get the feel for the place, and to help with
setting up the scene. So, I spent two days doing that at the beginning of this
week. I can now push forward and carry on.

Funnily enough, I have figured out a title for the novella
which is set between Cranberry Blood (Book One) and Blood Book Two... Have I
mentioned that? That I am writing a novella between the two novels? Sorry if I
haven't. All these plans in my head, and I tend to talk so much about this
series I don't know what I have or haven't said. Book 1.5, which has got a
title but you can't know just yet ;) is still being planned, but it stars two
new character, it links in to the main arc, but its not directly linked... sub
plot, yeah, that's what I'm looking for.

So yeah, title for Blood 1.5 came easily, and I have to say
I'm really looking forward to writing it, because the two main characters come
out with some funny shit. I have two titles in mind for Blood Book 2, but I'm
waiting for one to jump out and be like "ME! It's Me!" but until then
I'm afraid Blood 2 is the nickname. I will
be holding a cover/title reveal for Book 2 hopefully in May/June. Exciting!

So yeah, I guess today's post is an update post. Blood 2 is
at 23k. There will be a Blood 1.5, which I will be writing after I finish Blood
2. Cover/Title reveal for Blood 2 will hopefully be held in May/June. The aim
is to release Blood 2 in summer, and I may end up regretting throwing this out
there, but I'm hoping to have Blood 1.5 released by Winter - so any time from
Nov 2015 - Feb 2016.

Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-66902747465249963932015-02-16T23:36:00.000+00:002015-02-17T00:02:12.833+00:00The Perfect LengthI awoke to find a fab 4 star review from The Romance Reviews for my short erotic paranormal/horror story, On the Rocks. The review is really great, but one particular paragraph stood out for me:

"If the story were longer, I don't think it would have worked as well. It was the perfect length for this type of story."

On the Rocks and my other short erotic story Truth or Dare? have on the odd occasion received reviews and comments stating that "it was a shame they weren't longer." I can completely understand and respect a reader saying that since well, sometimes you do want to learn more about the characters and having readers state they would like one of my stories to be longer is a compliment - most of the time - because to me it means that the reader wants more, but I am very glad to hear that some readers do feel that these books are the perfect length for their type of story.

You see, both On the Rocks and Truth or Dare? are what I like to call brain nibbles. Gross, I know, but every now and again - and it is literally once in a blue moon - I get a story idea that is well, short and hot, straight to the point, and it doesn't have my brain working in over drive. Stories like these are a refreshing little break from other ideas that are huge and taking over my brain. You know the ones that are complicated and never ending; like the Blood Series. My Urban Fantasy series is big. The world is big. The cast of characters is big, and there are so many layers and things I'm still discovering as I go. Whereas On the Rocks and Truth Or Dare? were a bit of fun that didn't require too much thinking. They were a refreshing break.

Sometimes it is hard as a writer to know when to stop a story. I could quite easily extend both of these shorts and make them longer, but that isn't how I wrote them.

On the Rocks was a fun, sexy, twisted idea that I had and I love how the story flows and ends, and Truth or Dare? was a bit of hot, funny fun, which also shows that not everyone has to be in love or be charming and go about "asking someone out" the right way; there's no right way of expressing your feelings for someone. There is only the way that works for you as an individual, and Cameron and Dani had a pretty intense, crazy way of going about such things.

It's the same for my novella, Creak. It's not quite a horror/thriller. I don't really think it would fit in that genre because I don't, personally, think that it has the correct formula to be classed as a horror/thriller. I'm happy with the book, but even when I was going through the edits I found myself wondering if it should be longer, if more should happen, but then the characters would have shown me if there was more, it wouldn't have played out the way it did if there was meant to be more. So, I stick by that book, the way the story plays out and the length. I think it could be extended, but then it would feel like I was adding scenes for the sake of trying to make it fit with the formula of an actual horror book, and well, I'm happy to state that it is more of an erotic horror then an actual mainstream horror/thriller book.

So yes, sometimes stories are meant to be short because that's what is right for the characters. Not every story has to have a huge plot with tons of drama, or twists and turns. Sometimes it's good to have a little nibble and read something that you don't have to concentrate on so heavily. Sometimes you might find that the perfect length is 20 pages and that a short story can be a perfect read simply because it is a short story.

Have a great week!Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-53735899972089462252015-02-09T17:22:00.001+00:002015-02-09T17:22:59.080+00:00Valentines Day: Blood Series Style

So Valentines Day is literally right round the corner. I am sure most of you are pretty prepared, but then again perhaps you have left it too the last minute, or maybe you're just looking for one last quirky items to add to the goodie box you have got for your other half?

I can help with that. Welcome to the Elizabeth Morgan Zazzle Store!

Yes, I did mention that I had opened a zazzle store at the beginning of January, and it is still a work in progress as in I will constantly be adding products to it, but there are a couple of fun items in my store that you might find amusing or romantic? enough to get for your other half, or point out to them that you wouldn't mind having zed item yourself.

If you have read either She-Wolf (Blood Series: Prequel) or Cranberry Blood (Blood Series: Book One) then you might love these products, and if you are buying them for your other half, well, I think they are fun enough to be enjoyed by someone who has never heard of this series before.

Item Suggestion One: "I've Always Been Yours" Necklace

This is a Clare quote taken from She-Wolf. Sure, it isn't those magical three words, but personally, I still feel this holds a beautiful directness, plus it is romantic.

There are a few choices in regards to the design of the necklace. So you can pick colouring, shape etc

Guys, I personally think this is a present to give to your ladies, and I think it works well for those of you who have been together for a long time, but either way, I think it gets your feelings across beautifully.

As well as a necklace there is also the very lovely keyring...

Item Suggestion Two: "I've Always Been Yours" Keyring

Same as before, lots of choices for designs, but I think that even if you picked the heart design or went for an oval shape this is a nice one for you Ladies to get your Men, or vice versa. It's still romantic, and I think makes a sweet little side present, don't you?

Item Suggestion Three: "I just want a kiss. You're the one who is unable to control yourself." Men's T-shirt

This is an Owen quote taken from She-Wolf.

It comes in a variety of sizes and colours. So don't feel you have to stick to the red, white, and black theme that my Blood Series products tend to come as.

This is more of a fun present. One that your guys might enjoy as it is sure to stroke their ego; the idea that you can't control yourselves when he just wants a simple kiss.

Item Suggestion Four: "Dating instead of Mating?" Badge

This is another Owen quote from She-Wolf.

And this is definitely just a funny, silly little trinket, which I personally think would go down well for a) anyone who likes a good Werewolf story, b) likes the paranormal genre, and c) at the very least understands what "mating" means in the correct way and circumstance. Don't want to go freaking anyone out, but I think this is a quirky little present, which might actually be quite fun to put in that secret valentines day card.
Item Suggestion Five: "I am the embodiment of beauty and perfection" Ladies T-shirt

This is a quote taken from my modern fairytale retelling of Rapunzel, Razel Dazzle.

Guys, this is your turn to stroke your Ladies ego by letting her know that you think she is beautiful and perfect and should be proud. Not that she needs a t-shirt to know that she is beautiful and perfect in your eyes, but yet again, it's just a funny t-shirt that she can kick about in and when she is cleaning or running around after the kids and not feeling as powerful and as fabulous as she should be, she can look down and remind herself that she is.
Hello February. I didn't hit my 10k goal for January. *sigh* I hit 7k. Not so bad, I guess. Especially since I fixed the scene between my two blond(es) as well as padding out two other scenes. So I at least feel much better and able to move forward. Blood Book Two stands at 17k at present, but naturally it is a new month, which means I am starting over again with the goal of trying to get 10k written.

My mother feels much better so hopefully February will be a little calmer, but I have to say it is horrible not being able to write when you want too, but what's worse is when you have the time to write and you end up starring at your computer screen while feeling totally defeated. You end up giving up after a while - or at least I do if nothing is happening - and then feeling a million times worse for not being productive in that time you actually had, because you know that beyond a doubt that even though you know you have a couple of hours to spare tomorrow, something will pop up and steal them from you. So you beat yourself up. I told myself I wasn't doing that this year.

So, I am being positive about February. I already have the start of the next scene/chapter. I know what's going on for the next few chapters. I'm good, and I will hit 10k this month. It is totally doable.

At the moment I'm just happy that I'm working on Blood Book Two, because this baby has waited a good few years to be written. I just hope to god I pull it off. *fingers crossed*

Can you believe that January has gone already, though? Flew by. A lot of folks - here in the UK - took part in Dry January. Basically, they quit drinking for the month - and I think smoking as well? - which I think a lot stated they would do as a resolution, and it dawned on me that amongst the craziness of my January, I had actually started working toward my goals - I don't do resolutions. I set goals. I get that they are technically the same thing, but a resolution is something that has to be done within that year, whereas there is a little flexibility for goals. I know, it's cheating, kind of lol

Writing Blood Book Two was one. I also decided I wanted to join an amateur dramatics group. I have emailed one and they have added my name to their list so I will be invited to audition when they are preparing to begin their season - they run from May to November - and I have started my healthy eating kick - well, I only started 8 days ago lol - and have lost 3 pounds already as well as inches of my hips, waist and other areas.

So who knows, maybe I will reach all my goals this year. ;-) What about you; have you completed/started any resolutions yet?Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-64816147720389887512015-01-26T23:47:00.000+00:002015-01-26T23:47:27.207+00:00January has been exhaustingJanuary has been a bit of an odd month for me. I can't say it's sucked, but I can say with complete honesty that it has been exhausting.

Putting it all in a nutshell; my mother has been ill over/since Christmas and I have spent the last three weeks going back and forth to the doctors with her, we've been to the hospital three times, and I have generally been running around after her. She's had a really bad viral infection, but on top of that she's been having chest pains, which naturally, when you have pains in that area you panic. Well, she's been checked and she's fine, but my mother suffers from OCD and she is very bad when she is ill. So, it's been a tough month and I have spent it feeling and being very tired and not really wanting to do much most of the time.

On top of my day job and doing a ton of over time, I have been trying so hard to get on with Blood Series Book Two. I've managed to add 5k this month. I have two word goals: I try to write 5k a week, but as long as I manage to do 10k for the month I wont beat myself up to it. 5k x 4 = 20k and yet 10k in a month? Yeah, it's a big difference, but I promised myself I wasn't going to put pressure on myself this year.

It everything that has been going on this month hadn't I might have hit 10k by now, but then again, I have had to change a scene between two certain blond(es) at least four times because it wasn't working. So, naturally that has taken a few days. I feel better about it now, or at least to the point that I feel I can move forward and on to the next scene.

I have one week left in Jan. I'm going to try and hit that 5k, which will bring the book too 20k. My aim is 60k, but I do think it will go way over that. Either way, wish me luck.

In case you didn't know, Blood Series has a Facebook page which is mainly where I tend to post updates, random facts, and often snippets - like the other day I hit 15k so I shared a snippet from Blood Book 2 - so if you're interested in keeping in the loop with my Urban Fantasy Series just head on over - https://www.facebook.com/TheBloodSeries?ref=hl

Hope you have all had a nice January so far. Here's hopefully February will be tons better. <3Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-67501438982120460272015-01-22T13:01:00.000+00:002015-01-22T13:01:13.551+00:00A writing slump, "the ring", and a new infatuation (which I hope is temporary).

It's been a funny month for me. I've found it ridiculously hard to get going this month in most areas of my life, as if my mind and body have just gone, "Nope. I ain't getting back to work, not yet - I need a longer break."

On the writing front, well, it's certainly happening, but at a pace about 66% slower than I'd like. I write 500 words and then I stop. It's like my brain chooses to shut down after just half an hour or so of writing. It's not fun; it's not productive, but there seems to be not a lot I can do about it at the moment. I've spent many hours analysing it and trying to come up with a solution - maybe it's burnout, maybe it's distraction, maybe it's writer's block - and I've come up with nothing, because it doesn't feel exactly like any of those things. There's a chance that it's partly grief, but I don't really want to talk about that. And grief is such an elusive bugger it doesn't a hundred percent feel like grief either.

I have hit the 10% mark with Disgraced. Like I said, I should have hit 30% by now, but it's just not happening. The story is there, but writing anything feels like trudging through mud. However, I usually post an excerpt for readers every 10% or so, so here is the first one...

Ooooo ... exciting, huh? Yes, I did - I got very excited about this excerpt :) Despite what I've just said above, I am still confident about getting the book out to you by the end of April. I'm just going with it and trusting that somewhere in here, I know what I'm doing and it'll all work out.

Other non-writing things

I will not harp on, again, about how I've just got engaged to my ten-year partner, but I did promise you all a look at the ring. Well, I've taken over ninety pictures of the ring and I'm not one little bit ashamed of that :D

I've included one mosaic picture for you to see, and two pictures where I managed to catch the diamond's "glow"...

In other non-writing news, I have been replenishing my make-up. This sounds very boring, and I was expecting it to be very boring, but I haven't really even LOOKED at make-up for twenty years (all my old make-up that I threw out was twenty years old - I barely ever wear the stuff, which is why it lasts so long), and my gosh! Make-up has changed a lot since I last shopped for it! The variety now seems even greater than it was then, and I found myself lost in this massive sea of beautiful craziness. A lot of high-end brands have upped their game, too, in the last twenty years, taking out a lot of nasties from their ingredients, and the selection of natural make-up (from smaller, unknown cosmetic companies) has also grown. It remains really hard to find natural / (mostly) organic make-up that actually looks good and stays on, but there are some successes if you bother to take the time to look and try them. I have also become rather infatuated with make-up palettes (from any brand, high-end or drugstore; I'm not being fussy in this instance) - they're so PRETTY. When did that happen? Make-up used to be so boring to look at - not any more!

Anyway... yes, bye-bye twenty-year make-up; hello new pretty world of bad-for-my-pocket fun.

Back to writing...

Look out for the blurb and cover reveal for Summer's End on 13th February, hosted by Hot Tree Promotions. While there's an outside chance I might not get this book written this year (it's last on my list of three), I do want the cover and blurb out there - it's very motivating for the writing to have it out there.

So, this is my plan: chill out, relax, don't worry. Everything will work out eventually, because it always does.

Have a great rest of the week and weekend, everyone :)
I don't know about any other authors, but I have to say my
brain works in a funny old way. Sometimes I will get a story idea and it can be
quite easy to follow, but only in the sense that sometimes certain ideas will
linger and links will start to appear as the story forms. If only it could
always be the case because naturally it would make writing, not necessarily
faster, but somehow smoother.

Other times I can have an idea that is more like a segment
of a story; a small seed that needs to be nurtured and left to grow. These
ideas I get a lot. I get seeds. I get segments. Teases of possibilities which I
then become obsessed over only to have to leave them alone.

This is kind of what happened with the Blood Series. I had
an idea way back in the beginning and I kept thinking, and thinking, and
planning, and scrapping those ideas, until I came up with a story that I ended
up throwing away. I took the parts that I thought worked and started again.
Now, I think it took me possibly two months of severe planning to put together the
version of Cranberry Blood that is indeed on sale, and during those months I
naturally went into depth in regards to the characters - that I knew would make
an appearance in Cranberry, or be mentioned because they play an important part
somehow - and the general structure of the world.

When I wrote and eventually finished the book I obviously
knew there would be another couple of books because it is a plot that will
stretch across a few books, and although I know how this particular plot - the
main plot that is hinted at in She-Wolf: Blood Series Prequel, but kicks off in
Cranberry Blood: Blood Book One - is going to end, I wasn't entirely sure how
the characters were getting there.

(I have said it before and I will say it again, I am a punster.
I improvise, and when I say improvise I mean I have notes of things that have
to happen or be tied up, but I pretty much dive in and follow the characters.
It isn't easy, but it's just how I write. So, I kinda make things up as I go,
or as the characters show me.)

As you may know by now - especially if you are a regular
visitor to this blog - She-Wolf: Blood Series Prequel, was indeed written after
Cranberry Blood: Book One as you would expect a prequel to be, but I hadn't
expected to actually write it. I had an idea about Clare and Owen due to the
character profiles and backgrounds, but it wasn't until Owen demanded I tell
their story that I realized I had too because the events that take place
during/around their story were important in linking to Book One, and the same
realization happened yesterday.

As you also may know by now, I have had a gap between
writing the Blood Series Prequel and Book One and writing Book Two, which I'm
working on at the moment. Now, a fact you don't know is that the epilogue at
the end of Book One wasn't in my original manuscript. The book did end on a cliff-hanger
- I realize that the ending of Cranberry Blood is still left open, but that is
simply because the opening of Book Two overlaps with the epilogue. Each book in
this series is an instalment of one big story. So, it has been purposely done -
but the epilogue didn't exist until the submission coordinator of my ex
publisher suggested there was something missing at the end. I'm glad she did
say that because she was right, something was missing, and voila the epilogue
was born, and from that epilogue a smaller sub/side plot was created.

What am I getting at?

Well, when the sub plot emerged it became obvious there was
going to be a Book 1.5 coming into play, but I wasn't sure at the time what on
earth was going to happen. I mean, I know which characters are in here, but
what is this plot which has appeared and veered slightly away from the main
story arc? How is it all going to work out?

I started working on Blood Book Two in December - didn't
write as much as I wanted due to Christmas, but I got 10k done, which I'm happy
with - so naturally, my muse is at work, I'm throwing ideas about and I start
asking myself questions and write down the logical and appropriate answers, but
still nothing has clicked, I need the click. How can I make this idea work when
this and this is happening in the main plot?

Yesterday, CLICK. My god, how did I not see that? It makes
perfect sense. It's totally possible. It fits. It works. I have no idea where
this magnificent little slice of excellence has come from but I love it!

I started work on the original Book One in 2009. In 2010 I
took what I wanted from that original idea and threw the rest away. In 2010 I had
a foundation for the world, an idea for the overall story arc, and a Book One I
loved. 2010 I figured out the Prequel. 2011 both books were contracted. 2011
the prequel was published. 2012 Book One was published. 2012 things were going
wrong so I made the decision to not continue with the series until I had the
rights back and could self publish. 2013 I got the rights back. 2014 I
self-published the Prequel and Book One in the Blood Series. 2015 working on
Blood Book Two and planning Book 1.5.

Seven years this series is in the process and I'm still
technically planning it. I'm still having light bulbs popping on in my head. I
realize it takes some authors years to put a book, or a series together and
god, I respect that. Writing is never easy, not really. And this post hasn't
been about the length of time it takes to write, but simply how funny and
wonderful ones imagination can be, because as I said, you can sit and think,
and obsess, and drive yourself crazy trying to put a story together, trying to
figure out the flow of a series, or how a world works, and you can feel so
stuck, like you're hitting wall after wall, and yet in truth, you already know how
the story will go. It's all up there in your mind, already written, just
waiting to be wrote down.

I have tried forcing stories to work and I end up blocking
myself. So, if I can't figure one out I put it to one side, because I already
know that I have it all sorted, it's just not ready for me to see that yet. And
yes, I love when writing flows, I love when I know where I'm going with a
story, but I have to say I actually really love the clicks; I love when an idea
hits me and has the ability to blow me away, excite me, but more importantly shows
me that I don't suck, and that I'm not stuck... I'm just a secret creative
genius, or well, my muse is lol

This is probably the question I get asked most as an author: what inspires you to write? The answer isn't complicated and one word sums it up: beauty. I am inspired by beauty. The tricky bit is that I find many things beautiful (and not just objects, but actions and thoughts), and sometimes they are things that other people might not find beautiful...

nature - almost any landscape or scenery

historical buildings

daunting, modern skyscrapers

innovative design - new gadgets for practical things really press my beauty button

colours and paints - in fact, I used to paint and draw quite a lot. Watercolours, pastels and graphite pencils were my favourite mediums. I also love make-up palettes. Looking at a beautifully laid out, pigmented, shimmery palette fills me with nice feelings, even though I only wear make-up less than half of the week, if that

body art - tattoos, especially, are beautiful!

the colours of nature - they simply can't be replicated or reproduced by man

people - looking at an attractive man or woman (what I consider attractive) is always pleasurable - yes, man OR woman. Eyes capture me more than anything else, followed by how they wear a smile, followed by how they carry themselves as a person. And yes, I firmly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is unequivocal. Everything we see is a perception

people's thoughts - words, quotes, and the thoughts they keep hidden; the ones they do not say but that you can see between their words

open-minded intelligence, coupled with sensitivity

circles - I love circles, balls, spheres, domes

the earth and the moon - especially when you can see the shadow of the moon making it spherical

shadows - they are both mysterious and beautiful

the way children play and act, so filled to the brim with unsuppressed life - I wish we would never lose this as we grow up. Having said that, I think I was an "old" child, and got younger as I got older

raw emotion - this is beautiful to watch unfold when it is led by pure intention, whether it's anger, love, or fear

conflict - this can be beautiful for the above reason, but it is also painful to witness. However, I am one of those people who can find beauty in pain and vulnerability. This doesn't mean I wish it in others, just that I see the beauty in it

passion - for the same reasons as 'raw emotion'. Too few people are brave enough to be passionate about life, and to follow their passions

travel, and others' stories of travel - I am a wanderluster at heart and always will be

animals - every single one. (Although I'm less partial to furry caterpillars - I'll take spiders over furry caterpillars!)

can I say nature again? I so love nature - everything we need can found in it. It provides for us and nourishes us, and that is beautiful in every respect

I find beauty in all the above, and more than can be listed, and writing is the tool I use to express that beauty. I also love trying to capture it in photographs - a hobby I shall be spending a little more time doing this year if I can.

What inspires you? Let us know!
I don't know how I have managed to not get sick *knock on wood that I still don't* but I'm very thankful that I have been well this winter.

I did come online on January 1st to find two fab 5 star Amazon customer reviews, though.

One was for Cranberry Blood: "Elizabeth Morgan once again pens an incredible read. Cranberry Blood is fast paced, gritty, sexy, urban fantasy full of action that catches you right from the start."

And the other for Stepping Stones: "Great characters, great storyline, well written, and definitely kept me intrigued! I enjoy this author's writing style and look forward to reading more books by her!"

So, that was a nice kick start to this new year, and on top of those two awesome reviews I also got confirmation that myself - along with authors Ninfa Hayes, R.A. Smith, and D.A. Lascelles - will indeed be attending Yorkshire Cosplay Con on April 4th. Yay! So, if you live on this side of the pond - UK - and would be interested in attending an awesome convention and possibly coming to say hey to us, then you can find all the details here: http://www.yorkshirecosplayconvention.co.uk/event/yorkshire-cosplay-con-7.php

Also, I opened a Zazzle Store! In complete honesty I opened it a couple weeks ago, but I have been trying my best to get a decent start on creating products and making them available for you.

A few years back two of my fave authors opened Zazzle stores within a year of each other and I found it to be such a fab idea, but at the time I had no reason or need to open one. So, I save the idea away in the back of my mind. Last year, another of my fave authors as well as the lovely Dianna Hardy who is a very good friend and indeed one of my fave authors also opened stores up.

Well, I thought, "why not?"

I for one often find it difficult to pick good prizes for competitions. Having a zazzle store means that I have created merchandise with quotes on from my own work, and can purchase zed items for competitions. Plus, it also means that if any of you loved a particular quote of book then you can treat yourself to a keyring, or t-shirt; whatever you fancied.

Now, the store isn't finished because I can add to it constantly. At the moment I only have quotes etc. from my self-published titles; She-Wolf, Cranberry Blood, and Razel Dazzle. I need to look into whether I can take quotes from the books with publishers. So, until I find out the details over that, if there is a quote from one - or all - of the books mentioned above that you would love on a t-shirt or a bag etc. all you have to do is email me at - Elizabeth-Morgan @ hotmail . co . uk - and let me know what quote you would like to see and I will whip something up to put on sale using it.

If you're interested in what's up for sale just head on over and take a look around, but please be warned you might only see a necklace. I have emailed Zazzle to see why my store page isn't showing up. I have a feeling it might be because the content of the site is set at moderate, but I'm not sure. If you sign up to Zazzle you should be able to see the full store with all 24 products, but don't feel you have to sign up: http://www.zazzle.co.uk/elizabeth_morgan

Also, while you are there you might want to check out Dianna's store also: http://www.zazzle.co.uk/diannahardy

And lastly, I have so far added 2,500 words to Blood Series Book Two. I'd hoped to add more, but with my mother being one of my family members who have had a bad chest infection since Christmas I have been going to the doctors a lot with her, and other stuff has been going on, but never mind. 2.5K is a good start. So, the untitled book currently stands at 12.5k. I'm hoping to add more words to it tonight. Wish me luck!Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-49773909635146704552015-01-09T21:34:00.000+00:002015-01-09T21:34:33.084+00:00Steaming straight into 2015 with ... a diamond ring!

Wow! What a start to the New Year!

Firstly, my writing goal is 1000 words a day, minimum, starting from two days ago. I am on target so far, LOL. Let's hope it lasts. My current writing project is Disgraced (Saving Eve, book one), which you can see here: http://www.diannahardy.com/saving-eve-series.html

Secondly, I have been tidying our teeny-tiny flat for the last month because this is hopefully the year we move out! I can't tell you how excited I am :D But it is a task and a half, although I'm having fun doing it because, FINALLY, our goal is reachable.

Last, but not least, yesterday, my partner and I celebrated our ten year anniversary of being together as a couple ... by getting engaged! I didn't see it coming, which was great, because I see most things coming. He's my best friend. He's seen the absolute worst side of me, and also sees the best, often when no one else does. In the space of ten years we've had agonising arguments, and moments too beautiful to put into words. We are both Scorpios, which means we sometimes sting each other, but we always come back to each other, because no one else quite "gets" that thing about each other the way we do. In some ways, it's nice to have had ten years to figure that out first, because now, I don't feel like we're in the middle of a relationship, or near the end - I feel like we're about to begin all over again. We sort of are. I'm lucky I'm (still) in love with my best friend. Guess how happy I am :)

So... there's a hell of a lot to do this year: write three books, sell two homes, buy a new home, and all the other things that come with moving. Wedding plans can wait until after all that, but I can safely say, I couldn't do all this with a better person than I'm doing it with. I'm really glad I got the chance to say 'yes'.

Happy New Year, everyone!
Hope you had a lovely and fun night welcoming in 2015. Did you make any resolutions?

A lot of people don't bother with resolutions - or at least I know a lot of people who don't - because they know that they won't do them. I use to make resolutions and that was indeed the case. This year I have made myself goals, which I know kinda seems the same as a resolution, but if it is a goal I know I will work toward it.

Lose a stone and a half - I know, tons of people say they are going to lose weight when the New Year hits. Well, firstly my focus is on getting rid of this weight I gained over Christmas. I ate a lot. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed everything lol but now I want to get back on a healthy eating kick. My aim is to be a stone and a half lighter by the end of November 2015. I have 11 months. It's possible.

Finish writing, and publish Blood Book Two - I mentioned this in my last post of 2014. So, you already know this is my main aim for this year.

Start writing Blood Book 1.5 - if somehow I am able to complete this novella and have the time to put it through edits etc and release it, I will.

Read more - Self explanatory, but I am waaaay behind with my reading. My TBR pile is huge.

Join an amateur dramatics group - I have already set this plan in to motion by enquiring with the local theatre groups. Why do I want to get involved with a drama group? I originally wanted to be an actress - something that I decided when I was five years old - I had this want until about 5 years ago. I wasn't confident enough in my talent or appearance to actually follow this dream of mine. So, I didn't. At the time I was writing like crazy, so my attention turned to the written word, which I don't regret. I love writing, but any time I watch a good programme, film, or even a live show I will find myself thinking, "I bet it's amazing to be a part of such a programme/film/show." So, I've decided to go back in to drama and see how I feel about it. Wish me luck. It's been a while since I performed.

So, they are my goals for 2015. All achievable.

What about you? Do you have goals/resolutions for the year? Do you feel they are achievable goals?

I think I have said this to open every end of year post, but I'm still going to say it; where the heck has the year gone? 2014 seems to have gone quicker than 2013. It's actually a little frightening at how quickly time flies.

2014 has actually been a very busy year for me and I'm only just coming to realize that as I look back at what has taken place this year, and as I am looking at 2015.

On a personal level there has been a lot of celebrations. I have attended one hen weekend, one christening, one 30th birthday, and three weddings. I've been lucky enough to spend time with family members that I haven't seen in a few years, and to be a part of smaller celebrations in the forms of going out for meals etc. I wish I could say that Christmas has been good this year, but a family member passed away the day before Christmas Eve, and my mother has had a terrible flu over the holidays as well. So, sadly it hasn't been the best Christmas.

I'm not really one for travelling. I go back and forth to Manchester since my family and friends are situated there, but due to all those celebrations I have been a few places this year; Northern Ireland, Bath, Stroud, London, and Leeds.

On a professional level I've actually had four book releases this year; Truth or Dare? released in January. Stepping Stones released in June, and She-Wolf and Cranberry Blood released in August - plus this December I released a paperback edition of a previously published title, Razel Dazzle, which released in eBook last November - I hadn't realized.

Okay, three of the titles were re-released due to the closure of one of my publishers the other year, but they still went through edits, and got revamped, and new covers etc. So they may not have been brand spanking new, but I still had to work on them and release them. I will say though, I don't think it will be happening again. Four books in one year is a lot of work.

I've had a handful of ideas for new stories, which I have had to leave in my slush pile until I have time to write them. I have started a new story in a whole new series, but decide that it would be best for me to finish my Blood Series, and another series I started before I even dive into another one.

I stepped further into self-publishing. Last November I self-published for the first time - Razel Dazzle, my modern fairytale retelling of Rapunzel - and this summer I self-published/re-released the first two books in my Blood Series - She-Wolf (Prequel) & Cranberry Blood (Book 1) - in both eBook and Paperback - yep, I actually figured out how to format for print books. Go me!

I finally met Dianna Hardy. That might sound insane since we share a blog, and have known each other for about three years, but we live a fair distance away from one another. So it was lovely to finally meet Dianna. She has been such an inspiration and help to me since I met her, and has become a really good friend.

I attended my first book event along with fellow authors Ninfa Hayes, R.A. Smith, and D.A. Lascelles - who I met at the same time as meeting Dianna Hardy. Leeds Steampunk Market was very cool.

I've been very blessed to meet new authors this year as well as forming stronger relationships with authors I have known for a while. And I have also had the pleasure of gaining and meeting new readers, which has just been fabulous.

So yeah, looking back 2014 has actually been really busy, but what seems a touch sad - and possibly good - about 2015 is I have no family events planned. No releases scheduled and written in concrete. 2015 is kinda empty at the moment. Well, not empty. Here's what I know for sure:

After self-publishing She-Wolf and Cranberry Blood I have made the decision that I am now going to self-publish all my titles - unless I have an overwhelming need and feeling to submit a certain book somewhere - because I just prefer it. Self-publishing gives an author a lot of freedom and more say over their stories, which is right, I think.

Despite having ideas - funny thing about my brain; sometimes it doesn't want to work so I don't get far with a WIP, but it constantly dishes out ideas. How is that fair? - and despite the fact I wish I could be the type of author that sits down every day and hammers out thousands of words, I'm not. I've beaten myself up over it for this last two years, and I need to stop doing it. I have another job I have to go to - I wish I didn't, but writing is a job of passion. A girl has to make a living and unfortunately passion doesn't pay the bills, not yet any way - and I know that spoils my allure lol but I do, and I can't always concentrate the way I would like to, or sometimes I'm tired so it is hard to write. So, despite all those ideas I have saved away, I made an agreement with myself; I'm aiming to publish one book every year, if I manage two then great, but I'm not going to stress about it because I have a very bad habit of watching what every other author is doing and wondering why I can't do the same, or be able to do this or that.... it's not me. Its not how I work. As long as I get to write, and as long as I can publish these stories, I'm happy and that is what's important; happy productivity.

So the plan for 2015 is to continue with the currently untitled second book in the Blood Series - which currently stands at 10k - and my aim is to publish that in Summer 2015. I do believe that due to the plot and flow of this book I may even have to partly start book 1.5 in the series. Yes, I haven't mentioned that, but there is going to be a novella or short novel between book one and two. I have a rough idea of how it will go, but I am a big panster and despite the fact I have stated I might release this in Winter 2015 it isn't set in stone. Book two is definitely getting released in 2015, though.

The Blood Series is my priority. I want to finish the series. If things hadn't messed up at my publishers then maybe it would be almost finished, but I can't say I am angry at the way things have planned out considering I wanted the rights to these two books - and therefore the series - back so I could self-publish them. So, I'm going to be working on the next book/book and a half in the Blood Series in 2015.

I do have plans past the Blood Series - like the other series I mentioned above that I want to complete before moving on to newer ideas - but they want happen until 2016. Should plans change you will of course be the first to know.

The only other thing I can say is definitely happening next year is that I plan to try and attend one or two book events, if my budget will allow. I have already expressed interest in a convention in Yorkshire that will be taking place in April, but that is still in the air at the moment. So, if you live in the UK look out for more details on that.

So, 2015 looks to be a quieter year, but I can't say that I mind. I look forward to only having to concentrate on one/two books that happen to be in the same world and flow with each other. I look forward to new opportunities that may open up and I hope some good ones will, but 2015 is completely open to me. Anything could happen - hopefully in the greatest of senses - and I look forward to seeing what this next year brings to my doorstep.

I hope that you have had a very Merry Christmas and that you have a fabulous New Year. I of course will be back in 2015. So, I shall see you then. ;-D
I was nursing a headache, which was brought on by a hangover that I had all through Sunday from Saturday night. It was my sisters 30th and we went out, needless to say I drank more than I thought I had. Woops. It was a good night, though. So, I can't and won't complain.

It's Christmas week. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like December has flown by, which I suppose is normal considering you spend the first three weeks of this month rushing around and figuring out every detail of Christmas - and then the last week of this month will be spent on trying to recover - and somehow it seems like there is no time for anything else.

I'm sorted. Bought and wrapped the last two presents on Sunday. Cards were done at the beginning of the month. Foods bought, drinks bought; I am now starting to feel festive. It seems so sad to say that now especially since we have two days left, but after speaking to a few other people I'm not the only one who has been unable to get into the festive spirit.

One thing that has helped me get there is choosing presents for myself. I don't really know what I want this year for Christmas and so people have been gifting me money, which is fine with me as I can spend it on DVDs and books. (I have a 20 page Amazon wishlist. I gotta shorten it somehow.) The only problem is - naturally - I want everything on my wishlist so it is a tough decision trying to figure out what I would like to buy now at this point in time. Needless to say I will be taking my time spending money on myself.

If you're looking to treat yourself to a little something this Christmas, or you have a friend or family member who loves reading then you might be interested in the following:

Broken Lights is Dianna Hardy's fabulous new release. It is such a good book. I can't even begin to tell you how good this book is. So, I'm going to leave you with a snippet from my review:

"Broken Lights is a beautiful story that not only proves that life really can change within a second, but that we all have hidden strengths and capabilities beyond our own beliefs. That we have the power to make a difference in other peoples life as well as our own."

Dianna is a fabulous writer and she dabbles in a few genres, so if you haven't already checked her work out then now is the time to do so. Especially because the first book in her Witching Pen Series, and the first book in her Eye of the Storm Series are Free.

My jaw was on the floor by the time I finished the last book in the series - which is actually a spin-off novel titled The Last Dragon - it's amazing, the way Dianna has weaved mythology and many belief systems together.

And the Eye of the Storm Series... Werewolves, enough said really, but the series is hot, funny, heartfelt, and packed full of action and secrets and oh, it's so so good.

Well, I say read, but I actually downloaded the audio book and I could not stop listening. It's an AMAZING story. A breathtaking fantasy full of action, magic, timeless/ageless love, humour, passion, and my god, it will have your heart pounding, sighing, and breaking all at once. So if you love fantasy romances you definitely have to check this book out.
Thirteen years ago, Brendan Daniels made a deal with a psychic. I am 10,000 words into the untitled second book in the Blood Series, but with having to get ready for Christmas, and visiting family, I've not had a chance to add any more words to the draft yet; something I plan to do as soon as Boxing day is over and done with.

Another reason why I haven't made further progress is because I finally decided to publish my novella, Razel Dazzle in print. Razel is a modern retelling of the fairytale Rapunzel. The story is set around Christmas, but the best part is that it is FREE to download from most online retailers. So, if you fancy a sexy fairytale retelling to warm up your Christmas then go grab your copy now. ;)
As you already know - since I have mentioned it the last two weeks - Razel Dazzle was my first attempt at self-publishing. I re-released this 20k novella last November in eBook - which you can download for FREE from most online retailers - and I have been toying with the idea of releasing it in paperback for the last year and well, I finally thought, "why not?" Not everyone likes eBooks. Not everyone owns a kindle or ereader. Most importantly nothing beats holding an actual book in your hands. So, I went for it now I know how to format books to release in paperback. ;)

So, from tomorrow onward you will be able to buy Razel Dazzle in print from either Createspace or Amazon, and eventually - hopefully - Barnes and Noble.
Well today, I just feel ugh and tired. So very tired.

But despite feeling somewhat off I am taking part in a Facebook Event that will be going all day today and tomorrow. It is the release day party for Shattered (Surrender Trilogy Part 2) by Jennifer Burrows. My spot is 3 - 4pm est time - so 8 - 9pm for those of you who live in the UK - and I will be sharing excerpts, random info on my books, and giving away some goodies. I would love for you to join me so please don't be a stranger - https://www.facebook.com/events/1506103206317341/?sid_reminder=1130619740893478912

On another note, December 9th marks the release of Razel Dazzle in print. Surprise! As you may very well know, Razel Dazzle was my first attempt at self-publishing
and although the ebook was released last November I have decided to finally
release it in paperback.

(Mainly because I now know what I'm doing after
figuring all the gritty technical details out on formatting for print when I
re-released/self-published the first two books in my Blood Series,) but also
because nothing really beats holding a physical book and well, I would like you to have the option to buy the story in paperback form.

So, Razel Dazzle will be available as a paperback from December 9th onward, but
if you are eager to try this book out - or rather, you would like a taste of my
work - you can download the novella for FREE from most online retailers.

O_o The years really do fly the older you get lol

My self-published titles - She-Wolf (Blood Series: Prequel), Cranberry Blood (Blood Series: Book One) and Razel Dazzle - have joined my other titles on All Romance eBooks. So yes, ALL my titles are now on ARe: http://www.allromanceebooks.com/

Razel Dazzle my modern fairytale retelling of Rapunzel is now available for FREE from most online retailers. You can download it for FREE from Amazon US, but for some reason it is still up for purchase on all other Amazon sites. My hope is that will change this next week, but if you would like to push that change along you can so by helping to ask Amazon to price match by doing the following:

Sign in to whichever Amazon you shop at (UK, AU, CA etc) go to the search bar and click Books or Kindle Store, then type in "Razel Dazzle Elizabeth Morgan." Click on the book once it appears, then scroll down to product details. There you will see a link: "tell us about a lower price?" Click the link and a box will open up. Then click "Website (Online).) The following box will appear.

Then all you have to do is copy and paste any of the following links - or all if you wish and have time to do so one at a time - into the URL box. Then just type 0.00 in both price and shipping cost, then click submit feedback. Straight and easy.

I spent the beginning of last week doing so and I have to say I didn't expect Amazon to price match so quickly, but for some reason Razel is FREE on Amazon US. So, I presume it worked, and with your help hopefully the price will filter through the rest of Amazon.

I love Christmas, and I have a very good feeling that as soon as I start shopping and then wrapping the presents, and once the tree is up, well, I will be there in the festive zone, but I'm just not there yet.

What I will say though is despite the mass amount of Christmas advertisements that have been on television this last week - and my god, I swear there wasn't this many last year - there is only one advert that proves to me that Christmas is coming and that is the Coca Cola advert. Yeah, you know the one. Little boy runs into a church and rings the bell. The theme song kicks in. All the towns folk go out in the snow in their pretty lit up village and watch as those big red coca cola lorries go past with Santa drinking an ice cold cola from a classic glass bottle on the back doors.

Yes, as soon as I see that advert I know that Christmas is officially on its way. The lyrics to the tune are after all, "Holidays are coming." And guess what, I saw it twice last night as well. Despite the last week full of supermarket, clothes and toy adverts, no cola advert and then last nigh BAM two in one go. I think it is basically time for me to get my butt in gear for the festive season and I am going to start today by announcing the following:
Razel Dazzle, my modern fairytale retelling is now FREE at Smashwords. That price will filter through the retailers so soon it should pop up for free at Barnes & Noble, iTunes etc but it will take a couple of days. I would love to say that it will be free at Amazon, but alas they no longer do free books unless you are on Kindle select and with all due respect I just didn't fancy making the book exclusive to them. So, it isn't free on Amazon, but on every ebook page under the product details you will find a link saying, "tell us about a lower price?" I will be clicking this link in the hopes that after pestering them they may indeed make the book free, but it will take a while and possibly a lot of pestering.
As sad as it sounds it means I always have something to look forward to.

As an author, I now understand the excitement and pressure in writing the next book and having it ready for its allotted release. Firstly, I want to say that I don't feel under pressure for getting the next book in the Blood Series done. I'm very lucky and grateful that those of you have have read either or both She-Wolf and Cranberry Blood have enjoyed it, and seem to be excited to read the next instalment, which is really awesome and makes me very happy.

The pressure and excitement I feel now I am writing the untitled Book Two is from myself and the sheer knowledge that a fair amount of time has passed between me finishing She-Wolf - which I wrote after Cranberry Blood - and this next book. The main reasons for that are a) trouble with the original publisher who had both books. After Cranberry was released things started going downhill and I just thought, "no, I'm not even writing the second book until I have the rights back for these two and can self-publish them." At the time I actually thought I would be waiting a very long time until I got my rights back, but actually it was a year. And b) I'm not one of those authors that write series in one go. I know that a lot of authors don't do that. They do one book either a year, or they will write and release a book in a series and have something completely different in the works.

Well, I'm starting to see the appeal of writing a series in one go. Writing each book. Finishing the entire series, and then releasing them one at a time over the course of so many months. To know that the book is there and ready for release and you have books to release while working on new projects.

It seems like a good idea. Time has passed and I find myself questioning what I am writing. All authors do that no matter what they are writing, but I suppose the biggest benefit will be that you are already completely immersed in the universe you are writing that perhaps everything will flow; rather than having a couple months to a years break and having to refresh yourself with it all again.

What do you think authors? Do you prefer to write a book at a time, taking breaks in between to write different stories? Or do you like to work on a series as a whole and have it completed and done?

I don't know if that is what I am planning to do with the rest of the books in the Blood Series. It seems like a good plan because it actually has been four years since I last worked on the series, and I really would like to complete it because a) I know some of you have been waiting a long time for it to continue, and b) I would like to see what happens next, c) this series is my baby and I would love to see it completed because d) I have other worlds I so want to dive into, and another series I also need to re-release and finish.

So, I can't make any promises because I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. All I know is that Blood Book Two will be complete and releasing next year, and I really hope you will all enjoy it. :)Elizabeth Morganhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03236216940038039168noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-946734054450135284.post-44550531628200925072014-11-03T23:22:00.002+00:002014-11-03T23:24:43.326+00:00Blood 2 has a beginning!Hope you all had a fab Halloween. I ate way too much and I actually had a pretty lazy weekend. Dressed up - despite feeling ill on Friday - as a skeleton - no I won't be sharing pictures - I had no face paint so I had to improvise with talc and eye shadow. Needless to say my face didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but I had led lights and candles on so it was really dark in my house, meaning when Trick or Treaters came round, well, it was too dark for them to notice my lame attempt at being scary.

On Saturday I went to the theatre to watch The Woman in Black. I thought it was very clever how it was done, but instead of reading the book, seeing the show, and then watching the movie, I saw the movie first and I do think once you have seen the movie version of a story you do get it in your head and kinda presume everything else will be like that. Needless to say, I thought it was smart, jumpy yes, but in places it was surprisingly funny also. It was a Saturday afternoon well spent. The only thing that annoyed me is that people left their mobiles on after repeatedly being told by staff at the theatre to turn them off out of respect for the other audience members and performers. It seems some people can literally not live without their mobile, or they are just daft and don't know how to turn the thing on silent. You would think after spending money to see a show you wouldn't want to be interrupted by someone txting you.

The weekend ended with hanging out with my aunt and cousin, binge eating and watching more movies. So yes, lazy weekend I have had, but we are now in to a new week and I must continue with the untitled second book in the Blood Series. I am already 5,100 words in, which means that Blood Book 2 has an actual beginning! Yay! I am liking my new "baddie" so far, well, both of them really - yes there is more than one - the only problem is I feel like I have too much in my head to the point that I can't wade through it. So, I decided that I would use my cork border, or rather the space I like to call; "I need it out of my head."

Well, I'm excited to say that after a couple of weeks of refreshing my brain and doing some more/up to date research, I have finally started writing the untitled second book in the Blood Series. Yes, you have read that correctly. There are some words in a document; 3,000 to be exact. I do believe I shall end up changing them all, but it is still a start. So yay!

Now as you already know the re-release of the Blood Series - the Prequel and Book One to be exact - happened on August 25th. Thank you to everyone who has purchased a copy of either/or both books. I do hope you're enjoying them. What you may or may not know is roughly 2 weeks after the release of the eBooks both She-Wolf and Cranberry Blood became available in paperback.

(It was the first time I was formatting and putting together a paperback and I wanted to do it right, which is why the print books weren't released on Aug 25th also. Plus, I was going 2 paperbacks at once.)

At the time of completing the paperbacks and making them available I was in the throws of organizing swag for my first signing, 2x Halloween events I was taking part in, and packing to visit family, and then visiting family. So I didn't have time to do a paperback giveaway, which I really wanted to do.

And it's what I'm going to do now. Like the title of the post says "Win Blood Series Paperbacks!"

I'm giving away one set of signed paperbacks - 1 copy of She-Wolf & 1 copy of Cranberry Blood, plus I'm throwing in a pack of signed swag - to one lucky winner. (See right.)

All you have to do is leave an entry on the rafflecopter to be in with a chance of being that winner. The competition is international and entrants must be over the age of 18.
